I have been taking photographs since I was a child, mostly of family and scenery. In 2001 I took my SLR on a trip to South Africa, the prints have yet to be scanned on to disc. I bought my first digital camera for £299 in September 2005 and was able to use the same 300mm zoom lens from my standard SLR.

Since moving over to the digital format, I have gone from strength to strength. Being self-taught I have developed a good portfolio of work from local charity work in 2006, including Devon area of outstanding natural beauty; Ilfracombe Round Table Rescue Day and Birdman Competition; and district photographer for North Devon District Scouts.
